I don’t know if this works if you’re not a New York Times online subscriber (which you should be far ahead of being on linkedin or facebook or mymouth), but check out Maureen Dowd interviewing the Twitter creators:

Ironically, I like following NY Times articles through Twitter. Follow them at http://twitter.com/nytimesnational. Easy to search for articles of interest or that apply to your business.
Being proactive before I get blasted. Looks like this site doesn’t keep updated like it should. Last post in September. Most of the time I filter the keyword “nytimes” and find the articles that way.
For your viewing pleasure, here’s a funny and snarky little cartoon about twitter.

The Colbert Report (The Comedy Channel) interviewed on April 2nd, 2009 Biz Stone, co-founder of Twitter. After seeing that I am confident where Twitter will wind up. Dowd makes it even more obvious that the Twitter creators are blinded by their “success”.
You can’t build software to be an answer for a need you didn’t know. Nobody will pay for that and once some one discovers that there is no need, a normal human will abandon it.
