“A Steady Rain” is probably best regarded as a small, wobbly pedestal on which two gods of the screen may stand in order to be worshiped.

Alan,
I admit my understanding of theater is nonexistent but my familiarity with both Jackman and Craig are with their recent action movies Craig as the new James Bond and Jackman as Wolverine. I know for me I would have been wondering when Jackman would be making his claws come out, and Craig would pull out his Walter PBK.
They were highly believable, but not with very good material.
