Someone to Edit Audio Presentation

Someone to Edit Audio Presentation

I need someone to listen to a three-hour audio presentation recorded live, and note where there are editing needs by the minute. For example, we need to cut out the dead air during exercises or breaks and so forth. I’ll give their detailed notes to my audio guy for editing and then duplication. I’ll provide an editing credit on the eventual product and $500 in cash or $1,000 toward any future workshop as a credit. I’ll ship the three CDs and would like them back with clear notes by elapsed time in two weeks. Any takers?

Thanks,

Alan

If you are still looking for someone to provide the editing, I would like to offer my services. I have done this in the past for a college professor’s podcast. In that case, I removed the dead air, boosted the volume on some quiet parts, and slightly compressed the file to speed it up and fit 1:30 into a one-hour file. In that case, the professor spoke a bit slowly, so by speeding it up, the audio sounded more normal.

It sounds like you simply need some “logging” of such points in the recording, and I would be happy to help you out.

    Thanks for the offer!

    Alan,
can you reveal which new product you are coming up with? I’m eager to know.

    Best regards,

Jason, I have heard Alan speak many times and I can assure you that you would not have had to speed up the recoding. 🙂

I’m happy to do this if you still need someone. I’ve got an audio/music background, among other things.
