Perfect Vision

Perfect Vision

When you apply for a driver’s license or get an eye exam, they often show you a book of numbers surrounded by varied colors. If you can identify the number, you’re not color blind, but if you can’t see it amidst the surroundings, you are.

Similarly, if you can’t identify your real priorities, you’re priority blind. You’re involved with so much non-differentiated “stuff” that you see everything as a priority, and therefore nothing is a priority.

Fortunately, there’s a cure for priority blindness. Choose a model to set your top priorities (such as impact, urgency, growth) and enable yourself to readily identify them. You want perfect sight in your career.

A perfect one at the perfect time, especially for me as I am getting my priorities straight. Mine right now is what I can create to create an impact that will help me generate a million surplus in my bank account as buffer amount. Feel it will give me the cushion for two things to take bigger risks and also on high value R&D work.
