Talk to Me

Talk to Me

When you’re delayed in an airport with no communication from the airline, you become increasingly angry. However, when the airline informs you frequently of the cause of the delay and expected departure, you can do other things, make other plans, and take positive steps (Jet Blue is very good at this).

Things go wrong. Explain to your clients and friends. Don’t try to hide them and don’t “go dark.”

The same applies to traffic. If you think it will take 20 minutes to drive somewhere and you are surprised that it takes 40, you get frustrated. But if you know it will take 40 you plan for it and don’t stress. We can’t change the duration in either the flight or the traffic circumstance, but when the issue is transparent we adjust and adapt. Communication lets your clients or friends and family adjust and adapt.
